Artwork reflects the times it was created because it can tell stories about the time periods and it demonstrates the interests that people liked back them. Artwork is society's way of showing their emotions towards different things. For example, if there was a dramatic war going on, we might see hatred pieces of art or art that shows what has happened durimg the war. The first piece of art is easy to tell that it is from the past and that it isn't as recent at the second picture. The second one shows more color while the first one is set to the past time frame.

Artwork can change the time it was created because one piece of art notice by a large group of people can be noticed and "speak out" to them. They can see this piece of art and realize that they need to look past other differences because nobody is perfect and they can all unite as one and fight bigger problems.

For example, in the painting of napoleon bonaparte, it shows the look of the people and Who they have obey. In the picture of Obama, this shows how proud everybody was that they have finally established complete equality and they were looking forward to the future.

1.)Art a couple years ago is different than this year because there might be different materials. Plus there are different type of artists with a different point of view of art, and with different emotions. Their are artists with happy lives and some with sad lives.

It doesn't seem right that Hello Kitty should get so much air time, but when the likes of Shepard Fairey and Adam Wallacavage are incorporating the ubiquitous symbol of cute into their oeuvre ... well, they've got our attention. The pieces are part of a group exhibition of art curated for Sanrio in honour of the company's 50th anniversary. The festival of cute continues at Small Gift Miami during the Art Basel-Miami scene.
