In my opinion, good art is something creative and expressive. A picture that puts an impression on a person and uses emotion. Something that takes time and the artist puts dedication in the work.

No all people will not have the same opinion on what qualifies art as good, everybody should have an understanding of good art, but not everyone will agree on what good art is.

1)What makes good art?
Good art is a piece of work that has a lot of thought and meaning put into it, something that has a story. It makes the artwork more interesting to the viewer because they will wonder what the story is behind it and maybe what kind of person the artist was or is. Also, good art relates to many people and what they have been through or experienced.

2)Should we all agree on what good art is?
I believe that the definition of good art is different for everyone. It depends on what they like, what they have experienced in the past, and what kind of person they are in general. It's like music; not everyone likes the same genre.

I think good art can be anything. You have to use your imagination. You also need to be creative. You can do whatever you want to make art.

Good art is when you use line weight and has shading. It also has meaning. Not everyone should agree on art because we all like different things some may like color while others my like pencil drawings.

Good art is expressive and shows emotion. It should have a message or story with it so that is is more interesting and deep than just a picture. It also should illustrate creativity and should take time to create.

Not everybody should agree on what makes good art. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder so what some people might think is good art others may not find good at all. Everybody has their own opinion and everybody's opinion is different.

no, every person looks at art in a different way.

1.Good art is when you can see the difference from light to dark. You can see the cast shadow of the drawing. You should be able to look at the drawing and be able to understand it. Good art has to be creative and original.
2. I don't think that we should all agree on what good art is because it should be our own opinion on different drawings. I think that we should be creative and unique in our own and and express ourselves in our drawings.

1.) Good art is art that has all the contents needed. It should express contrast and detail. You should be able to look at it and understand it. Good art should tell something important and illustrate creativity.
2.) Everyone has their own opinion on what good art is. People think differently. Someone might think that good art expresses things that I don't think good art should have. It's everyone's personal opinion.

 Using a full range of values make objects look more three dimensional because using different shades of color. The depth makes it look more realistic. When their is different shades the figure pops out more to you.

2. Yes, I do think that using all the values make it more dimensional because of the depth and it looks more detailed.

Light: The white horses at the top are light because of the pure white.

Cast Shadow: All of the black people/horses.

This picture appears flat because it has no values.

Question 2: THIS DOES NOT LOOK 3D. As it has no values, this just looks flat and won't ever have three dimensional shape.

Highlights: There are many highlights in this drawing. The light source is coming from the top of the building. A lot of the highlights are on the walls.

Shadow: The shadows are more towards the bottom of the picture. Right under the left staircase, there is the darkest shadow.

Cast Shadow: This is located underneath the staircases because they give off shadows.

Using a full range of values makes the objects look more 3 demensial because actual 3 demential objects have different values, so by adding the values they look more real. It gives them more depth and realism.
