1) Art work reflects the time it was created because the more modern painting is not as detailed as the older painting and the meanings are very different. The contemporary painting reflects Obama being the president and doing great things for our country. The old painting reflects war and people fighting over land.

This piece of work is very interesting because Hello Kitty is known as a very sweet adorable figure for kids, but in this painting Hello Kitty is a really bad, misbehaved figure with a spray can in her hand as if she is going to put graffiti on buildings' walls.

1.  How does artwork reflect the times it was created?  Compare this portraitrom the past with a more contemporary one. Artwork reflects the time in which it was created because at different times in history, different even events took place and different trends were popular. Artwork may portray these things and depending on the time, whatever is painted is different. This portrait shows a man on a horse. This reflects it's time because back then everyone rode horses for transportation but not anymore. The clothing in this portrait and the more contemporary one are both different also.

Artwork can reflect on the time it was made because it may have inspired other people when it was first made, and the way it inspires people today may be different.
